A brand film about VNG AG's sports sponsoring: five clubs across Saxony, €500 in funding each — and the stories behind it. Filmed at training, told by the people who keep club life running week after week.

Goals & client
VNG AG funds numerous sports clubs across Saxony with €500 each. The PR contact approached me with a list of possible clubs — with one goal: to make visible how much even smaller amounts of funding move within club work.

Approach & execution
Five clubs, five shoot days, spread over half a year — because every shoot needed lead time: securing permissions and, wherever children were involved, clearing data-protection as well as photo and video consent.
On site I accompanied each club for around ninety minutes during training in a documentary style — sometimes alone, sometimes together with VNG's PR contact.
At the heart of each was an interview with a coach, board member or responsible person: about the club, the sponsoring and, above all, what the €500 was used for and how it supports day-to-day club work.

Result & value
The result is a compact brand film that makes the impact of the sponsoring tangible — close to the people who keep club life running week after week.
It shows that even smaller amounts make a real difference, especially across the breadth of many funded clubs.
